WHAT IS APOTERI?

WHAT IS PAUMBO?
Paumbo, base of operations for King William Adventures, is a secluded 82-acre island approximately 23 miles upstream of Apoteri Village.
WHAT IS THE ESSEQUIBO?
Home of Apoteri Village and Paumbo Island, the Essequibo River is the largest river in Guyana and flows north for 1,014 km (630 mi).
HOW DO I FIND OUT ABOUT VISA REQUIREMENTS?
When you are travelling to Guyana with a U.S. Passport, a Tourist Visa is not required. Additionally, no Visa is required for stays of up to 3 months.
DO I NEED TRAVEL INSURANCE?
First, get insurance if you are leaving your home country. In this case you should always have emergency medical and evacuation coverage. When you leave your home country, your health insurance may or may not travel with you.
